The video game is a collaboration between the Ministry of the Environment and the Coast Guard, with the aim of raising awareness of the issue of pollution of the seas and the resulting damage to marine flora and fauna.
Have fun cleaning the sea of plastic and other waste with our PlasticFreeGC app! Spot the pollutants, remove them all and give the fish trapped in the plastic back their freedom. At each new level you will be given valuable tips on how to respect the sea and the environment.
Technologies used
The game was developed through the Unity3D engine, for the Apple iOS and Google Android platforms, with purely 2D graphics, integration with GameCenter and Google Play Games is exploited depending on the platform used to show rankings and best scores.
